Maple tree pruned, before soil treatment and mulch
Bloomington Fire Station #3 has a maple tree that was experiencing some stress. We wanted to help out. So we came out to prune the dead branches and remove the ones that obstructed the fire trucks coming in and out of the station.
An air knife was used to aerate the compacted soil around the tree. Then we applied deep soil conditioners, and finished with a layer of whole tree mulch.
We are happy to help out first responders when we can, and help maintain the health of a mature downtown tree.
